Jean Eastman is the Elementary Administrator. She also teaches Bible and Music in the Junior High at NCA. Jean is another teacher who counts herself as one that has been at NCA since it's inception in 1998. Jean's passion is music so it makes perfect sense that she teaches Music K-8, Choir 3-5, Junior High and occasionally guitar. She also teaches Bible to the 6th and 7th graders. Her BA is in Music Education/Voice.
Jean is our Accreditation Coordinator, directing the faculty and staff along the path toward dual accreditation.
Jean has 2 adult children. Her daughter (an NCA grad.) is a senior at Messiah College and her son is finishing up his Civil Engineering degree.

Vicki Nason is the Kindergarten Teacher at NCA. She has been teaching at NCA since 1999, initially in First Grade and now in Kindergarten. She received her BA in Elementary Education from the University of Maine and has her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. This makes perfect sense as she is NCA's Curriculum Coordinator, ordering the books and supplies for the school and making sure the other teachers have the tools they need to do their jobs.
She loves sports, especially basketball and softball. She also likes to vacation in Northern Maine and New Brunswick, Canada where her family lives.
Interesting Fact: Vicki served on the mission field for one and a half years in both Zimbabwe and Mozambique, Africa. She also served as a Program Director and Director at Camp Fireside in Barrington, NH.

Elaine Birch is the First Grade Teacher at NCA. Hailing from the north of England in Halifax she and her family moved across the pond in 1996. She holds a BA in Music and Linguistics and a certificate in Education. She has a wonderful English accent and in addition to teaching both pre-school and kindergarten here in the States she has also raised her 4 children with Graham her husband. 2007 is Elaines first year teaching at NCA but she has been an NCA parent since 1999.
With 4 children in tow she tends to be active and enjoys the outdoors while skiing, kayaking, biking and camping.
Interesting Fact: Elaine loves music playing both the clarinet and piano.

Pam Seremet is the Second Grade teacher at NCA. She has taught at NCA since 2003 and she taught in Hudson, NH previous to that. Pam graduated from Wheaton College in Wheaton IL. With a BA in Elementary Education. She is also certified in NH with ASCI. Teaching is a passion of hers as she taught for 5 years when she graduated college and currently tutors during the summers when she isn't walking the Marginal Way in Maine or spending time with her 2 daughters.
Interesting Fact: Pam has been a competitive swimmer all her life!

Thom Smith is the Third Grade teacher at NCA and one busy guy. He and his wife Amy are the proud parents of 3 boys born within 3 1/2 years of each other the youngest born in August 2007 shortly before Thom started his first year at NCA.
Thom holds a BA in Early Childhood Education from Nyack College in New York state and is certified with ACSI. He loves literature (nearly double-majoring in English) and New England sports (read: Patriots). Thom has worked with troubled teens in 2 ministries and has a heart for kids.

Eva Good is the Fourth Grade teacher at NCA. With a BA in Ministerial Education, a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in K-12 Special Education you could say education is important to her. She brought over 10 years experience in many phases of elementary education when she came to NCA and remembers fondly her work with 6th grade Special Ed. kids.
Eva and her husband are NCA parents and revel in the outdoors. She loves kayaking, hiking, canoeing, and swimming.
Interesting Fact: Eva enjoys photography, making some of the wonderful shots she takes into cards.

Andrea Barnett is the Fifth Grade Teacher at NCA. A graduate of Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH with a BA in Middle Childhood Education (science & social studies emphasis). Andrea comes to us from New York and loves to travel whenever possible. Maybe this is where she garnered her love of music from other cultures. She also writes and considers photography more than just a hobby. It has been said that she is a NY Yankees fan, but this remains an unfounded rumor.
Interesting Fact: The first time it occurred to Andrea that she could be a teacher was in second grade when she found herself explaining to a friend the intricacies of borrowing while subtracting. She never looked back.

Peg Anderson is the K-8th grade Art Teacher at NCA. She has been teaching art at NCA since 1998. She holds a Masters degree in Elementary Education and a ACSI Professional Lifetime Certification K-8. Peg is passionate about art and loves to see a child's creation glorifying the Lord. To that end every spring the walls and halls at NCA are filled with hundreds of pieces of art as the Lord is celebrated at the annual Fine Arts Festival.
Peg loves to spend time with her grandchildren, baking and family get-togethers. She also is a Patriots and Red Sox fan. Go Sox!
