HISTORY
In 1997, Grace Fellowship Church of Nashua, NH began planning the opening of Nashua Christian Academy High School. The church had purchased a large mill building formerly
owned by Nashua Corporation intending to expand the ministry. A long time desire of the Grace Fellowship Church body for a regional Christian school became a reality at this time as Bethel Christian School, a small K-8 in the area was assimilated as a base for the new endeavor. An administration for the new K-12 school was established in January 1998 and a flurry of construction activity and staffing led to the opening of Nashua Christian Academy and High School in September, 1998.
From its inception, NCA/HS has been a team effort, involving members of the church and school communities in every aspect of its development. As construction progressed, the hand of God provided numerous vital donations from Nashua area companies and from the Nashua Public School District. This exciting and intense time was a true parallel for the joys and pains of childbirth.
With a staff of 23 and a student enrollment of 198 NCA/HS opened its doors to grades K-10 September 8, 1998. Grades were added each year and the first senior class graduated; in June, 2000.
NCHS is a member of NHIAA and boasts class S league sports in both boys' and girls' basketball and soccer with junior high sports thriving as well. Our Junior High and High School cheer leading squads have competed in the Tri-County League and the Worcester County Tournament competitions winning awards on many occasions. Go Eagles!
NCA/HS serves students from families in a 30 mile radius spanning 2 states. We are a regional school representing more than 50 churches from a variety of denominations. Our rigorous academic program is enhanced throughout by an emphasis on growing in one's personal relationship with Christ and living out His example in daily life.
We remain thankful to the Lord for His provision and faithfulness in every area.
VISION
The overriding vision for Nashua Christian Academy is to instill in every student and staff member a "Passion for God and Compassion for People. "Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-39
MISSION
"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man." Luke 2:52 Nashua Christian Academy is a regional, evangelical Christian school, serving churches and families in the Merrimack Valley Region. Our mission is to offer a quality Kindergarten through Twelfth grade traditional classroom education that is Christ-centered and discipleship oriented. Our primary goal is to equip and enable each NCA student to find God's purpose for his or her life and fulfill it.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible is the Spirit inspired, inerrant and wholly authoritative Word of God._(II Tim 3:16)
We believe that there is one God who is eternally existent in the three persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (I Jn 5:4-7)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in his sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary death on the cross, in His shed blood for the remission of sin, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory._(Jn 10:30; Lk 1:34,35; Heb 7:26; Acts 2:22; II Cor 5:21; I Jn 1:7; I Cor 15:4; Acts 2:33; Lk 21:27)
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, light and darkness, the sky and waters, the sea and land, vegetation according to its various kinds, the day and night, the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, the creatures of the earth according to their kinds, and man in His image._(Gen 1:27)
We believe that man was created good and upright, and that by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God the Father. (Gen 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom 5:12-19)
We believe that man's salvation is received through repentance for sin and faith in Jesus Christ, shown by a life that is growing in holiness._(Lk 13:3; Rom 10:9; II Cor 7:1)
We believe in leading a life that is sanctified by the power of the Holy Spirit where sanctification is the act of separation from that which is evil and being dedicated unto God._(Rom 8:13; 12:1-2)
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will enter into the resurrection of life with the Father according to Christ's work, and the lost into the resurrection of the damned according to their own works._(Jn 5:24, 28, 29)
We believe in the spiritual unity of the Body of Christ, that includes all those who are trusting Christ for their salvation and leading a sanctified life._(Jn 17:21-23)
