Stephanie Tanguay teaches English in the High School at NCA. Stephanie came to
NCA in 2005 directly after earning her BA in English Education at
Southern New Hampshire University.
She
and her family have attended Grace Fellowship Church since1994, and she
considers it a great blessing to be able to teach at the same school
her children attend. When not teaching Stephanie love to spend time
boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, reading (naturally) and painting murals
on walls in oils or acrylics.
In
descending order here are Stephanie's favorite books:
1. The Bible -no
reason necessary.
2. The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein -my
childhood favorite.
3. The Jungle by Upton Sinclair -the book itself is profound
and rings true, but also the impact that it had directly on the
meatpacking industry and society.
4. Modoc: The True Story of the Greatest Elephant
that ever Lived -Amazing detail and imagery. I couldn't put it
down.
5. The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins
Gilman -not a book, but a short story. Again, changes society.
Also, a realistic and far too probable look into the mind of someone
driven to madness. |
